08 IMG_4132.JPG - This is John's beautiful 1954 MGTF, last of the wooden framed MGs. They caused some controversy when they were released in the early 1950s. To some people they had lost the traditional MG shape with its flared in headlights and angled dashboard. But it is a great shape and has definitely stood the test of time. Then MG brought out the MGA with its all steel body and that was totally different (but still had side curtains).
